Keyless entry for '83 911SC

Hi,

Iv'e just installed keyless entry into my 930/935 DP. Wish I had taken pictures for you, anyway the doors and the linkage is much the same on all the 911, 930 etc, based on the diagram above I connected the actuators via linkage 22, the actuators (central locking motors) are pretty much all the same size, but if possible and you can purchase smaller actuators, do so.

The space with in the doors is very tight, with the actual scissors window mechanism etc, and there are limited places to mount the units. I mounted mine in parralel with rod 22 front facing towards the back of the car, then I connected the supplied aftermarket linkage to rod 22 putting a slight bend at the end of the rod so it would line up allowing the connector clamp to secure tightly. Its hard to explain without pics, its not the ideal place I would have liked to mount the units but they work very well and I have had no problems, looks so much cooler getting out of my porsche without having to lock it with a key, anyway If you need more advice please let me know and I may be able to scan a picture and email to you good luck.

Nishan
