OEM Shocks for cabrio MY03 with M030?

Recommended Posts

I am not sure how to tell for certain if my shocks need replacing, but given the car has more than 80,000 km I think it is time for a new set. What make and model are the shocks porsche provides for the M030 suspension?

Also, should I replace the top-mounts when I replace the shocks?

Ok, since nobody seems to know this let me ask a different question :P

I can get Bilstein Sport shocks at a very good price and I need to know whether they will work well with the M030 springs that my car has. Anyone?

Price up the full M030 suspension kit which consists of shocks, springs, anti-roll bars with bushes. The kit was the equivalent of buying 2 front shocks separately (around 670Euro).

I am sorry but I do not understand. My car already has the M030 kit and I want to replace the shocks. The question is whether I should go for Porsche parts (around 1400 euro), Bilstein normal shocks (around 820 euro) or Bilstein sport (yellow - around 620 euro). All prices are for a set of 4 shocks.

Well the M030 kit consists of 4 shocks 4 springs 2 anti-roll(sway) bars and 4 bushes. So you would be replacing the full suspension for roughly the price of the 4 bilstein shocks?
