I have an 04 Cayenne Turbo with an UpSolute Chip and secondary cat bypass pipes. Back in February, about three weeks after increasing the boost with the UpSolute chip I had a misfire at high boost levels. Nothing too bad, just a cylinder or two not firing when the boost got high (around 12 lbs). Everyone said to check the ignitors (known problem). I replaced all eight ignitors and plugs with OEM parts. All ignitors that were in there did have cracks. They were about three years old. However, that was just over four months ago and about 5k miles and I'm getting the problem again.....missing cylinder at high boost levels. I know the ignitors are bad...but they're not suppose to be THAT bad. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've known over Cayenne Turbos with increased boost and they don't go through ignitors and/or plugs THAT quickly....usually about 20k miles.

Looking for any suggestions. :renntech:

Are you using the proper octane gas?

Yes, 93 and 94. But, I could have gotten some bad gas. I'm going to run a tank of Sunoco 94 octane before I start pullings apart. Thanks for the reply.
