1982 924 fuel system upgrade

Recommended Posts

Im looking to upgrade the fuel system on my 82 924 but im not entirely sure what ill be required to purchase and what fuel systems if any can be swapped with mine. I feel like this is definitely a weak point in this car and probably the reason im getting 20 mpg and below in a 2500 pound car. can i bypass the seemingly pointlessfuel distribution system? Any help would be appreciated.

Most people don't know how to tune/adjust the CIS. I think you'll have more headaches trying to replacing then getting it operating correctly.

yea i have a shop manual that explains CIS adjustment, i guess for now i will mess with that so it stops running so **** rich. I was hoping that id be able to find a newer 2.0 liter VW to take the fuel system from but im guessing its not as universal as a honda.
