1999 996 C4 Cab Wheel Offsets and Bolt Pattern

Recommended Posts

I am considering the unthinkable and am looking at a set of winter wheels for my 996 C4. Anyway, I have found a set of wheels off am '01 C2. Fronts are 17x7 and rears are 17x9. Bolt pattern is 5x130 and the front offset is 52mm and rear offset is 47mm. I am having trouble finding out whether these offsets will work on my 1999 C4 Cab. I guess two questions would be, will the offsets be acceptable (i.e. not interfere with brakes etc.) and the second is a harder question...does anyone have a feel for what this will do to the ride quality and handling? Obvously the 17s are different than my factory 18s but I have read that the offsets can play a big role. Thanks in advance for any advice!
