Disconnecting the airbag on passenger side..

Hi,

Does anybody have a hint on how to disconnect the airbag on the passanger side of a 996 c2 MY99?

I live on an island between Finland and Sweden (Scandinavia) and will have to travel to Sweden for installation of a disconnection bar for a child seat.

Dont have a Porsche dealer on my island..

Problem is that i have to take my child with me on this trip and i dont want to drive with the airbags hot on the pass side..

I know i will get a warning, but is there a way to safetly disconnect pass sides front and side bag (100% know its out) and 100% know that the other airbags in the car still works?

Like a temporary solution until fixed by a Porsche center...

Please advice...

Disconnect battery, then remove door panel : unclip door handle cover, remove 2 screws, another behind door handle and one inside door pocket, remove airbag crest with butter knife/screwdriver, and unscrew the last screw. Finally unclip door panel from sides and base, the just lift out. carful for the wires behind. Unplug airbag.
