Recommended Posts

hi people. Am trying to remove the passenger side air vent without breaking it. Anyone got a a easy way of removing it? Also am wanting to buy a hardtop for my 2003 model boxster but been told that you cant fit a earlier hardtop to a facelift model. Is this the case?? thanks folks :D

As far as the hardtop goes, they all work up to MY04. The early ones have "ears" on the lower rear.

Are you talking about the vent in the dash?

Edit - Oh, and Welcome. :welcome: :welcome: :welcome:

Take a look first if the hardtop quick fasteners inserts in the B pillars are already installed. ROW cars delivered without the hardtop option don't have that. Open the top completely and look straight in to the top of the B pillar, if you find a black circular plastic cover ( approx. 2 cm. diameter ), the inserts are not installed. Don't forget to order them. To remove the side vents, do a search, it is on the board already, under desnorkeling of something.
