Remote Key question for MY03

Recently, I just noticed that my remote key fob would not work properly after couple days if I don't drive my car. The light on the fob turns on while I press the Lock/unlock button but nothing happened. It will work fine after I insert the key into the keyhole(or ignition) and lock or unlock it one time. Car is MY03. Anyone has this kind of problem? Any suggestion or anything I should check?

I don't know if the key will generate some random code and has an expiration date..... <_< I guess the milk in my frig has longer shelf life.......
