Cabrio rear window seals

Afternoon all.

The rear window seals ('gaskets' in Porsche-speak) on the wife's Cabrio are looking tatty (the ones that are fixed to the windows' rear edges), so I ordered a new pair - very reasonably priced for Porsche bits at about £9 a side....in fact, the recommended Loctite 480 adhesive is twice the price! :o

The instructions in the manual seem easy enough to follow, but do say to refer to 'service no. 61 71 19', which looks like a sheet number. Problem is, I can't find it anywhere in the manual I downloaded! Has anyone got this? I can't see that its going to be anything major....but would like to put my mind at rest!

Has anyone done this job themselves, by the way?

I think its just reiterating the 'microswitch and rocker switch' instructions.

I know this is an old thread but I'd put a document to share my experience with the seal replacement for ones looking for more info. It was not a difficult job and it's nice to see those seals rejuvenated.
