My 04 cS start making humming noise, it will go away if I shut the ac. The dealer said is from the heat pump. Is there a DIY to fix it ?

The heating and AC is generally noisy, I know of no easy fixes

I think there was a TSB issued on a pump for the climate control... something about adding and insulator between it and the mounting assembly. I'll look up the reference number.

There is a TSB for this, and it needs to be done at the dealer. Unfortunately, it doesn't help much. The fix mutes the sound a little bit, but it's always there. It happens in the colder months when you need the heater. I've learned to live with it and/or turn up the radio.
