Hi Guys,

About 3 days ago, I took delivery of my Macadamia Carrera S. Since then I have put about 350km on the car and I would say we are still in the "getting to know each other stage". So far I'm loving the car. Great power, nice comfy ride. In a nut shell....a perfect daily driver super car. I am also enjoying the PDK transmission. Whether in manual or automatic mode it works great. Truly the best of both worlds.

The only thing I find weird is the ipod interface option. Well I did pay for option but did you guys know that the wire that will connect to your ipod is sold separately !?... Well at least that is what the sales rep told me. I am being charged another $700 for the wire! Can any of you confirm if the interface and the wire is really sold separately? Anyhow this hasn't stopped me from enjoying my car but your inputs are highly appreciated!

Thanks! I discussed this with my dealer earlier today...they couldn't really argue anymore so I will be able to get the wire this week without paying extra $$$$$$! :-)

Congrats on the car! I picked up my C4S with PDK on Saturday 12/21 and am loving it so far with about 150 miles driven.

As far as the IPOD cable, someone is pulling you leg. I have one, got it on delivery. It's a simple cable, but I guess they do have some specialty input (looks like some kind of DIN connection). I would check EBAY or google it, or just call another dealership. No way it goes for $700! They just pulled one out of a drawer and handed it to me. Good luck and enjoy the ride
