Dumb Question - Block heater

Recommended Posts

Thanks she started at -34C so I think I'm going to be OK. I didn't like the whistling sounds coming from the turbos though...

I'm surprised in that they winter tested them here (in Northern Alberta) but didn't feel a block heater was warranted....what you going to do.....

I'm in Calgary too, no she sits outside and started everyday this week. The only issue I had are the first real cold day the truck said the 4wd had an issue (which it didn't), I could barely turn the wheel due to the steering fluid being thick, and my front and rear park control were down due to dirt/snow/freezing.

Other than that it's worked well.
