Hi there, today I was sat in my 06 Turbo S using my laptop. I turned the ignition on to the second position and a message appeared on my laptop, it said " Porsche PCM detected, do you want to send files to this computor" So I clicked on the pop up and it opened my documents and said select files to send to this computor. I didn't send anything incase it caused any problems.

Can anyone explain to me what this is for?

Thanks :)

Hi guys today I tried finding the car via bluetooth on my phone, but nothing came up. Do you have to put it into a discoverable mode or something?

Sounds like you have the "logbook" feature, and are linking to the PCM via the IR port.

Sorry but could you explain this properly to me.

The logbook feature is designed for off road use, it helps to remember your route and then allows the data to be dumped of to the laptop via infra red

I forgot that even existed its so little used
