I have a 98 base Boxster w/ Tip and have been having some trouble with non starting and erronious gear dash light. I was told that the most likely cause was a dirty selector switch. It was also mentioned that the dealership could clean it out for about $100. Being that I am 1 1/2 hours from a dealer and it seems that for $100 it cant be all that hard I would like to do it myself. I have tried the search feature and have come up with a few thousand non- related hits. Any suggestions on the search question or has anyone tell me how to do it? Thanks in advance as I have a full sring of events coming up and I would like to get rid of any gremlins with my 6oK work over. MO30 ROW suspension, AOS, rotors and brekpads all around , tires and the other 60K maintenance . Thanks, Ed
