Removing the Bose Amplifier

Does anyone know if it is possible to remove and replace the Bose amp without removing the side panel? I think my amp is shot, and want to try to replace it with a good one to see if I am right. Without gong to the dealer of course.

You will AT LEAST have to dissassemble to the point you can access it from the top by pulling the trim away. Most of the disas work is done by then, PIA sorry, I can help with instructions if you need them

Mudman, thanks for the advice. I have the instructions. You sent them to me a while ago, I believe, for the mObridge install. I was hoping that there was a trick. While I have it apart, i will check to see if the mObridge isn't the source of my no sound angst.

Does anyone have the instructions within the instructions to remove the side panel? For instance, Removing C Pillar Trim, Removing the rear roof lining , Removing the D-Pillar Cover, Removing luggage compartment trim, and Removing cover for lock mount?
