repalcing outer door seal

Recommended Posts

Well, I can't take the window seal rolling down with the window, and my left arm has a graphite line from the dry lube, so...

Any advice on replacing that seal? It seems that it is one piece, and that it runs all the way around the door, amd behind the mirror, It appears also that I would not need to remove the door pannel but could do that easily if necassary.

Last, it seems that the inner seal (at top of door panel) helps hold the window in place so I'm wodering if anyone has thoughts on repalcing that at the same time as there is some "play" in the driver's window as compred to the passanger side.

Thanks,

jonathan

I've got the same problem on my 99 C2 Cab. Anybody attempted a DIY post for this yet?

i couldn't seem to find one - - i'll look again, and i'll post one when I perform the repair.

and just to complain again, the Porsche CPO program is really lousy.
