Dash Pad Replacement

NewfieMZ3

Recommended Posts

I have a 1984 Coupe with leather dash. The leather has shrunk and has also warped the dash pad. I have looked into the cost of replacing these items either through the dealer or World Upholstery, Pelican. Any other advice on a good source for replacment pad and leather covering would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 1986 911 and warped dash - bought a plastic replacement for $109 on ebay. Had to cut the old dash quite a bit to remove the curve but it looks great. A friend had his re covered and he said my cover looks better. There are several vendors on ebay.

good luck.

(sep 25) if not: i pulled mine, warped @ vents and leather shrinkage @ windshield. i found a guy in watsonville who works out of his house that repaired the warpage, covered in leather, replaced the 5-7 plugs, and helped me put it in for 350. great job call me if you need his # wayne (831-234-3209)
