My 06 Turbo S has performed perfectly, although I only have 13000kms so far.

From day one, somethimes the PCM would fail to eject a CD /MP3 disc. It would say "single CD disc not found". After a little while the PCM would recognise and eject / play the disc again as normal.

I have now had a [shop bought] disc stuck in the the PCM for the last few months and I would like to resolve the situation.

I have tried resetting the PCM using 1-4-8, I have tried pulling the fuse to reset the unit. I have even had a gentle poke around inside the CD slot, all to no avail.

I'm thinking of taking out the PCM with a view to getting apart and having a look at the offending mechanism. [my dealer is several hours away].

I wonder if anyone else had a similar problem and how they solved it ?

If I remove the PCM to work on it, will I have problems with "Radio Code" needed to use it again ?

Any thoughts and suggestions would be most gratefully received.

Regards

Nat

Thanks.

I have searched, I can't see anyone who has been contemplating getting the PCM out and apart to try and look at this issue, and I'm worried that in trying to do this I will make a bigger problem.

Problem solved.

I simply loaded up the multi changer in the rear compartment and used it, and voila, the PCM decides to eject the stuck disc

I was rooting around in the trunk as I was, and still am thinking about installing a Denison gateway usb / Ipod adapter. I also have a 2004 996, and might get one for this too.
