PCGB Festival 2004

Recommended Posts

So I thought I would get you guys across the pond updated in what went down in the UK recently.

Porsche Club GB held its bigest event yet this year at Brands Hatch. It was a great event spanning two days of none stop racing. There were parade laps, register displays, and even a few CGTs there. The URL below is a 48Mb movie of

the gorgious speed yellow CGT that was supposed to do 5 laps of the Indy circuit

but it near lost it on the 3rd and he chickened out after that :clapping:

As well as this PCGB also attempted to break a world record of the greatest number of Porsches on a track cicuit. It was hoped to get 600 but we only got about 270. Still we did set a record, the greatest number of moving Porsches on

a track and Guines book of records was there counting us. It was great fun. The Yellow CGT headed us up and there were even Porsche Tractors on the circuit.

Porsche AG prety muched emptied the museum and there were some serious

cars on show. I will be posting pics of some of these amazing cars shortly.

OK, where'd he get that T Shirt. Well before you ask, I had a few made up

for my son and I so that we could give RennTech some advertising at the show.

So please don't go bothering Loren about them. They don't exist ;)

:clapping:

No it was OK, Porsche were there handing out free oil drip trays ;)

By the way, I can't wait to get hold of my 5th RMS seal when it's replaced so that I can hang it on the wall with the others.

After all it is an Olympic year
