Okay Hi all from a newbee , ive had my Boxster for 8 mnths now its the 2000 Boxster s , 3.2 , manual 6spd , i am trying to find a diagnostic equipement to run through my pc , either laptop or desktop (longer lead) , what suggestions do you guys recommend , here in the UK our dealer for Duremetric wants £670 and does not supply the 50ft lead , so what other options are open to me please..

If it is Hinkleys you are looking at, that's for the professional package. The amateur kit is £225. You can but it direct from Durametric, but by the time you pay shipping, duty & VAT it isn't really worth it. You could also try FVD in Germany. http://www.fvd.de

Yep it was Hinkleys and yes that was for the professional package and yes the idea i looked at buying direct left me in the same ball park figure
