engine vibrations in parkmode

Recommended Posts

Has anyone experience with engine vibrations between 2000-2300rpm (mine is a Turbo S MY 06), gearlever at P. the vibrations cause the whole car to vibrate slightly. If the engine is cold vibrations are not noticeable. engine itself runs great, has full power.

Engine mounts? Transmission? Torque converter? any ideas?

thanks in advance for help

Everyone seems to have this problem at first and freak out about it. And it is a scary feeling the first time you notice it when your Porsche could be ripping itself to pieces or something. There is a whole thread if you search all about the engine shuddering slightly. It seems to just happen to everyone. It's honestly not a problem nor is there anyway to stop it. If you pop your hood you'll see that giant engine brace to keep your engine on its mounts. Next time you get into your car and it does that don't worry it's more of a pat yourself on the back for having a powerful engine moment.
