Front And Rear Tire Set Concern: Pilot Sports Front Bridgestone Potenz

Hey again guys. I have been kinda tapped lately so instead of dishing out 1200 for a pair of Pilot Sports for the REAR SET.

I went with a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE 960AS Pole Position 295/30-19 nice tires and they feel AWESOME at 0-80. The thing is when I am turning at around 75 - 80.

I have a sway steering feeling. Have I really screwed up by not getting ALL 4 Matching tires? I was under the assumption that as long as the L-R REAR match and L-R FRONT match.

Is this an issue or do I just need to get use to my new tires.

Just wondering if there is a HAZARD in doing this.

To be clear:

I have a MATCHING SET Pilot Sports FRONT

I have a MATCHING SET Bridgestone Potenza REAR

:drive:

Thanks Again,

Stephen

Yeah I think you screwed up and will need to buy the matching fronts. I've been waiting months for Michelin PS2's to come in. Tire Rack has them back ordered for 265/35/18. I have a set of Mich. Sport Ribbed on now but the rears are wore out. The dealer recommened not mismatching because the Ribbed are no longer available. He said I'd feel it. So I ordered all four PS 2's through the dealer.

Probably gonna have to bite the bullet like me and scrap the fronts. I had to do this once before with those **** Pirrelli Zero things.

Oh and I found this later, some even recommend mismatched tire wear causing problems with the feel.
