Production numbers for 1965-1989 cars?

Recommended Posts

I have been searching the internet and can't seem to find the actual production numbers of the earlier air-cooled cars.

I'd like to see the annual production numbers as well as the individual production numbers for each model of each year. Can anyone give me a link?

Thanks.

I'm not aware of any online production figures. I would suggest getting a copy of Patrick Paternie's Porsche 911 Red Book, which shows a breakdown of each model in each production year. It's a handy pocket-book size and a nice quick reference. If you want more detail, look for a copy of Marc Bongers' Porsche Data Book. More comprehensive (and expensive) but nice glossy photos and much more detail. HTH.

Thanks Richard,

I have Patrick Paternie's book (3rd Edition) but it lacks detail in some areas. I'll look for Marc Bongers' book.
