hi all, my 996 has the trunk open warning light come on while driving after a while, can come on after 2 minute or upto 15 minutes after starting my journey.i have changed the rear wing and fitted a gt3 item, but have not fitted the cooling fan back on yet.. any help would be most appreciated..

Trunk warning light or spoiler warning light?

Either way - you need the rest of the wiring harness - the fan and 3rd stop light, etc. got hrough that harness.

hi loren it would be the spoiler light as its pointing to the rear spoiler.. i will refit the fan and harness and see if that makes any difference :) thanks

i have tried fitting the harness and fan but light still comes on after driving, does the control module need to be reconfigured to allow for no motorised rear wing? is there a fuse perhaps that could be removed to stop this light coming on?? many thanks
