Hey everyone, I bought my 04 Cayenne S back in August and and am just now deciding to deal with this issue. When I use my Headlight washers, the driverside washer pops up and stays up. It wont retract. Anyone else dealt with this before? Is tis fixable with a cleaning or is something broken. Right now I just push it back down and it stays down until my next use.

I probably look pretty cool driving around with my R2-D2 bumper :)

Thanks!!

The washers are deployed by the water pressure, they retract when the water pressure stops, helped by a inside spring system, in other words they are not directly electrically operated. Check if the washer slide up and retract smoothly when you manually operated the system and check also if any tube or return valve is blocked. You can give it a try with cleaning but in most cases, it will be a replacement.
