Congrats on the new car Tekky! I would get the factory short shifter for sure. I have it in my Turbo and love it.. That car is going to be beautiful... Now you have that painful wait...

I didn't see the sport Chrono option.. Is that standard?

All the best,

Phillip

Tekky.. Sorry.. Early Monday and I can't see too well..

That's going to be an amazing car. Are you trading in your current 997?

When are you scheduled to take delivery with a July build?

Early September I'm told. Not trading my c2s, may upgrade that to a 997-2 c4s cab instead something I could whip around during winter months?

Sweet! I want to add a GT3 to my driveway.. Hopefully at the end of the year. Love my Turbo but miss the normally aspirated engine... Both are awesome.. Again congrats on the new car!!.. :clapping:

GT3 Front and fender flares???? I saw the Aero kit but didn't see that option. ?

Good eye!

It is a must for me. IMO makes the front look way more presenting than the original.

I upgraded my 997.1 Carrera 4S to the Sport design front bumper and side skirts that match the 2011 Carrera GTS. I LOVE the new look

of the GTS. Really adds a bit more of an aggressive look. I would also definitely get the "sport shifter". Porsche has come a long way

in the feel and precision with the short shifter kit. WAY better then what they had in the 996. The shorter shifts and precision make

the whole car feel that much more solid and in tune with your inputs.

The GT3 RS front and fender flares are going to look awesome! Nice option. Have you thought about adding spacers to your front wheels,

since the fender flares for the RS were made to work with the 9 inch wide vs 8.5 wheel and 245/35/19 vs 235/35/19 ?

Porsche just announced this week that there is now a 2011 Carrera 4 GTS. Porsche is hitting them out of the ball park lately.

So much awesomeness to chose from. Have you thought about the Carrera 4 GTS ? You can have all wheel drive in your GTS

and possibly skip upgrading your other car... just a thought.

Congratulations! we all envy ya.... in a good way ;^)

You raise some really good points my friend. Wheel spacers, added to the list. 2011 models are complete, there is no further 2011 production, 2012 are staring in May (now) and I believe the 2012 model is the last year of the GTS; so dont really understand when the 4 GTS has or will come out? I certainly was not provided the option between regular and 4 weeks ago I would definitely consider it

Thanks for your comments

Did you order this GTS with the wheel spacers with CL hubs? I was told when I bought my GTS they do not have spacers for CL,,,,,

That is how all GTS come - they have the wider rear like the GT3 RS and come spaced out with 305 wide rears.
