Durametric Codes? Ideas

Hi All....

Washed my 997 Turbo today and have had no error codes....After washing it, I drove to the store......No error codes. Got back in and started it and got check engine bring to workshop message.

Drove home....Put the diagnostic tool on it and got: P 8584 System Too Rich Bank 1 & P 8448 Throttle actuator motor open circuit.

Any thoughts? Could water have caused this from washing? The engine seems to run the same (fine)...No noises or rough idle. I could not clear the error either.

Any help appreciated...

Thanks!

Possibly,

Clear the codes and see what comes back.

Follow Up....Must have been water somewhere. After a couple of days of no rain and a few starts, the engine light went away. Given the Rich idle indicator, if it comes back, I may assume it is the MAF....For now though, all is clear and no issues
