I have owned my 2004 Boxster since the beginning and it has been one of the most reliable and enjoyable cars I have owned, and I have been driving since 1966. My top began acting up a few weeks ago and I needed to move the emergency brake lever up and down until it worked. But now, when I turn on the car, use the emergency brake and release the roof latch, my windows drop down 3-4 inches, but nothing happens when I press the button on the console. I do not hear any clicking. There is no sound at all. I checked the fuses and they are fine. Any thoughts? I am now unemployed and live in Miami and well into my mid-life crisis, so the top is an issue I need to fix ASAP. lol
