Recommended Posts

Hello recently replaced the panels for the electric adjustment for the front seats but am having a difficult time trying to reinstall the panel to the actual switch which has small internal switches that regulate the seat adjustment ,If not put on perfectly the seat doesnt move properly, anyone have a diagram or suggestions Thanks!

Hi there. Not exactly clear what you are asking.

The panel assembly holds 2 or 3 switch assemblys, each operated by one knob. Each switch assembly itself consistes of 2-3 microswitches which is operated by the one knob to provide 2-3 directional movements. Snapping each knob to the switch assembly can be a bit tricky because the knob must fit onto each of the 2-3 switches just right. Also there may be some small springs which tension the knob onto the switches in a certain way.

Once you have the knobs fitted correctly, replacing the panel itself should not affect the operation of the switches.
