Magnum body kit use skid plate?

I'm getting magnum kit put on my cayenne. The installer says I don't need to put on my old front skid plate. He says it sits too low and doesnt look very good with the kit. He adds that there isnt any openings underneath after the kit is installed.

For those that have installed the kit, did you have the skid plate installed into the front bumper as well? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
