996 Trunk Release with Power Seat Memory

I have a 1999 996 C2 with power seats. I'm looking at changing the trunk release piece to one that has the power seat memory buttons on it. My question is, will this work with my power seats? Is there anything else that I need to add to make this work? Appreciate if anyone has any thoughts on making this change and if they have done so before, how it works.

I've attached a picture of the piece I'm talking about.

If your car does not have seat memory right now, then no it wont work. You would need the drivers seat memory control unit and all the wiring. Even then I don't know for sure if it would work.
