2005 Boxster S Interior Code MB

Recommended Posts

I'm looking at ordering some touch up paint & leather restorer. My car's exterior colour is L92U so that's Arctic Silver as per attached picture showing the Paint Code, however the Interior Trim / Colour code is listed as MB, however I've been trawling online and so far I can find no reference to this colour.

The closest I have been able to find was a listing for MC which was a special order Boxster Red which my interior is not as per the attached picture. Can somebody help me track down the exact colour name / details for my interior? I'm thinking this is possibly a

special colour for the Middle East Market only?

That's was my thoughts that it was Terracota, however since I've got to order everything and have it shipped in to the UAE which takes forever I just wanted to find confirmation some where in writing that the code MB was for the colour Terracota.

I've googled some pictures online (UK car advertised for sale pic attached) and it does appear that this is the colour of my interior. Thanks for helping me confirm this as its always good to have a 2nd opinion before ordering.

Jimmy, why do you need to "restore" the leather? What do you plan to do?

Not knowing your issues and or plans, I'd suggest trying a simpler plan first:

1) A good cleaning with Lexol Leather Cleaner (orange bottle) diluted

2) Use a high quality leather cleaning brush (see picture) Swiss brush.

3) A good quality leather conditioner after the leather has dried a day or so. I really like Zaino Z10.

As a side note, you can ask JoAnne at www.colorplus.com for her recommendation on the leather code. She sells Porsche leather dyes, and also has a great product to restore leather and clean and such.

Good luck!
