Hi all,

Really hoping you could help me out with a problem im having with my pdc

I have a 2004 cayenne s with front and rear pdc

I purchased the car 4 months ago and the rear sensors have never worked I just get the 2 red lights on the display when I put it in reverse.

I had the dealer plug in piwis and it brought up my nearside outer sensor was faulty (I thought it was this one as there was no pulsing or clicking coming from it.)

I have tried swapping with one from the front which of course caused the front to be faulty but the rears are still faulty, but now I can feel the pulse and hear the clicking from the sensor.

The piwis shows no faults on the rear now. I have since purchased a brand new rear sensor and fitted this with no luck. Still the 2 red warning lights on the display and the long continuous beep.

I have rang the loom out and all cables are fine with 0.3 ohms or less and all connections are clean and all sensors are clean.

I have asked my dealer who have no idea now as they say if it was the control module either the fronts wouldn’t work or it would show up a fault on piwis.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

Leon
