Cardan 95542102015... V6?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I finally blew my drive shaft bearing!  Though I knew it was doubtful I looked on craigslist for a replacement.  A guy has a brand new 95542102015 in the Porsche box with all the additional hardware.  He "no longer has teh car"  $500!  Seems liek this is the right part, but he insists it is for a V8 and Turbo only.  My web searches show it will work for my base 2006 3.2 V6.

Anyone know for sure this is the right part for me?  I'm quite sure he will not take a return.

Thank you for any help!!

Jonas

Thanks Roy!

The shaft is in! Man, the old one was trashed.  Bearing surround completely gone, bracket was floating free.

I eneded up getting the shaft off of the guy on craigslist who turned out to be a Porche Mater Mechanic.

Left with the old shaft and no core return needed I contacted Vertex Auto and they have agreed to pay $75 if I send it to them.
