Radio and amp issues. Does this look right?

My car apparently had some aftermarket modifications done to it before I purchased it. Unfortunately the previous owner took most of the aftermarket items but left the crappy wiring. I've returned everything to stock, and the CR-220 radio lights up, but no sound comes from the speakers.

I'm trying to track down the issue and I suspect it is related to the amp. The sound system fuse was blown (D9 location in the fuse box) so I've replaced that. In the picture, I'm pointing to where 4 small wires appear to be soldered into one wire that then connects to the yellow plug for the radio. Does this look correct? Would Porsche do something like this?

The car is a 99 996 with the 6x40 M490 amp and door speakers.
