how to control the motor model

Hello everyone I just bought a 911 996 2011
but they told me it had changed engine with a 3.6 how do I check if it has ben changed?
as verificao what kind of engine was put on?
For I have a prob in oltr 5000 rpm which stops the engine rooms and not as if it was stopped, and the power goes down
under 3 4000 rpm seems to be fine
what could I do ?

Post your engine number.  It looks like this.  Do an e-gas calibration - move ignition key to the on position (do not start the engine and do not put your foot on the accelerator pedal), wait for one minute.  There should be a series of clicks and sounds from the engine compartment.  Then remove the ignition key.  Then start car normally.
