Exhaust and Stereo

Recommended Posts

Hi All

just bought my first Boxster and loving it so far. Not looking to do many mods, just need ideas to get her sounding great in the exhaust note. Been reading for weeks now.. And planning to do JR ims...

i did a nice stereo upgrade if anyone's interested. Pioneer has a new flat sub (size of a text book)!that fits under the seat and has amp built in for nice stock base when you want and a control knob. Love it so far!

i put this under the seat. I only have video right now, but won't upload. Best bet is to buy off amazon- everything and find a good installer. You'll save tons.

i bought a pioneer double din and kit to fit, lost the useless cup holders. You get get both for about 250 depending on unit.

I put a 4 Chanel in the front trunk and ran components in dash 4", and 51/4 coaxles in door. Pioneers and mb quart comps.

Makes sure whatever head unit you buy had 5 outputs for sub, 6 if you want one under each seat. Sounds really nice. Let me know if you need any other help or questions.

Also- invest In decent amp for quality sound. Anything better then class D should be fine $200-250, JL audio I bought
