Esteemed Porsche People,  GGR is in need of volunteers for our 4 day event at Laguna Seca....your volunteer time can be for a few hours, a day, or the whole weekend...this is your chance to see the inner workings of a major PCA Club Race and be up close and personal with everything from Vintage Porsche racers to brand new Cayman CS and 911 991.2 Cup Cars, we have arranged for a 103 dB weekend so you will get to enjoy the sights and sounds of real Porsche race cars!
There will be openings for
1)Scrutineer’s assistant(s)
2)Scales workers
3)Grid workers, to assist gridding race cars prior to entering track
4)Hospitality workers, to make sure volunteers and participants have food and water during each day of work or driving.
5)Steward’s assistant.  See the real inner workings of a big Club Race
6)Racecontrol’s assistant. Same as #5
7)Timing assistant(s) Same as #5
8)Registration of participants.  Especially Wednesday afternoon, early evening, Thursday all day and possibly for a while on Friday.
9) And others I am sure I have forgotten or will be added.

Whether you have experience with this sort of event or your first time, there will be people there to get you up to speed and have a good time!
So many of you former Club Racers, significant others of same, or someone new to the club...please consider spending some quality time with GGR and your favorite car marque.
We will be taking volunteers from all over the PCA universe...so come on and join us for a weekend of fun.
Any of my good friends (I am sure there are at least a few of you??). Even if you are not a PCA member, we have room to get you involved too...
