Seat belt info: Five or six point options

Recommended Posts

:drive: Do they sell a 5 or 6 point safety harness set up to help keep me from sliding around in my seat (during an auto X) without having to change out my stock seats or add a big roll bar in back?

I saw a cool set-up one time on a 993. It was a single bar that stretched across the pilars just behind the seats and was used for seat belt mounting, and to mount a camera in between the two seats as well. It was atached to the exixting seat belt mounting bolt adn looked easy to remove and install as needed

Hi Paul,

I've been looking into this a little recently. Brey-Krause makes several different models. I don't have experience with any of them, just heard about them on the boards and reading the website. I think you need to add an additional bar beneath the front seat mounting rails for the anti-submarine belts, but I don't think that would interfere with day-to-day operation of your seats.
