Lowering 986S with US M030 -- sensible options?

Recommended Posts

Apart from a full replacement adjustable setup using PSS9s (or similar), does it make sense to replace the M030 springs with H&R or Eibach? Does anyone know if the H&R/Eibach springs are a good match for the US M030 dampers?

ROW M030 seems foolish given the price and the fact I've already got the same front & rear bars.

Searched the archives, got lots of opinions on H&R + Bilstein, PSS9, and ROW M030, but nothing on simply replacing the springs in the US M030 setup.

I'm running US M030 with EVO springs (manufactured by Neuspeed. <EVO Suspension parts>) and really, really like it. The springs lowered my car 1.25" all around. I can't say the handling has improved significantly, but it certainly has not been degraded. There is no "porpoising" due to insufficient rebound damping in the stock shocks and the ride is only a little stiffer and not at all jarring.

Here are some pics of my lowered car with 8.5" and 10" Fikse FM10's
