I'm pretty sure I need an MAF. Where's the best price? MY98. I've been driving all week with the MAF disconected, the car ran great. I hooked it back up today and the car ran awfull. I did try cleaning it, I think that's part of it. I did this to try and trouble shoot a CEL, 1123 and 1125. I didn't get any w/o the MAF and as I say the car ran great. Before with the MAF plugged in it would stumble when cold around 2K and would stumble on hard acceleration at around 5K. W/O smooth all the way.

i don't remember the part number (i can check later) but the one i think you'll need is about 450 USD (if you buy it from the stealership or from my mechanic). however, i think you can find it elsewhere for cheaper. toolpants can correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think '98s were e-gas so i believe you get the cheaper MAF (actually it might depend on if you've got a 2.5 or not).

this post might help.
