Recommended Posts

Car: Cayenne 3.6 Tip 2007 (model 957).

hi, i have removed all the 3 plugs behind the navigation (under front seat), so that i can set the date manually now.

but every time i start the car, the error message (CD changer & navigation system error) appears, how can i disable the error message ?

I think because you have left the orange fibre optic line open.....you would need to loop the optical if leaving out the navigation unit. But also you would need to code out the navigation unit from the system or you will always have an error with the mixing unit.

What was you original issues and objective? You mentioned to set the date as time manually........ Were you having an issue with the navigation maps/unit? There are update CD's available for the mapping.

angusc, the issue was wrong date, and i could not set the date manually.

after i removed the orange fibre optic line in the navigation unit, i could set the date.

ya, i needed to re-plug the orange fibre optic back to the navigation unit, then no more error. tq.
