Hardwired Garage Door Opener

OK, as an update for the Garage door mod. It IS possible to have two openers on one switch. Sharky and I tried this the other day and it works like a charm. Click one way for the front gate and then click the other way for the garage door.

You need to combine the Negative wires from both openers and connect it to the center spade on the switch. Then connect each positive wire one to the inner left spade and the other positive to the inner right spade. The teo outer spade are for lighting the switch up.

Simple Targe Roof Switch can control two remotes when wired properly.

Yes, it will work in a boxster. I think the targa switch should fit? If not i'm sure there is a boxster switch out there you can use. Mini remotes can be used, but it's more difficult to solder the wire since the area is smaller.

It really does work a treat. It's nice to just have it all in one switch for those of you that need "two" functions etc...

Kirby thanks ever so much again:P

PS I spent some time with Mark Rein yesterday showing me the new Engine. OMFG.
