PCM Issue after battery replacement

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I just recently purchased a 2014 cayenne platinum edition V6 with only 22k miles on it, it’s in mint condition.
However, the previous owner took it to the dealer installed a new battery , and now the PCM keeps shutting off every 2-3 min . I already did a factory reset on it a few times , without any luck. The dealer wants $300 just to “diagnose “ it, they refuse to even do a simple software update. Any codes I can enter ? And how exactly? Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

Right, I did the vehicle handover PCM reset by holding down the info button for 10 sec , and hit double yes . I did this 3-4 times now, but it still shuts off after about 3 min or so . I am thinking I have to input some type of code or do a software update somehow?

I tried to find the CD for the software update 4.76 version, but it’s sold out everywhere. Any way I can get it from someone who has it ? The pcm currently shuts off every 2-3 and it’s really frustrating, will the software update fix this problem?
