DVD available for Fixing Boxster Top?

Recommended Posts

I have a '98 boxster that has the infamous cable problem with the top. I would like to try and repair it myself and read that Toolpants may have created a DVD on how to do it. Is there such a DVD available? It would be invaluable to have this. You can't thank guys like Toolpants enough for taking the time and having the consideration for helping us poor folks who have not had experience with this.

I have a 97 that needs a top replacement (Split rear screen).

The mechanism is also broken - I have ordered the parts needed for repair. I'd be happy to film / take pictures of the installation when I do it, and would love some help/advice from someone else in the bay area who has completed this task. I am in San Carlos.

I have ordered the parts to fix the mechanism from Sunset Imports (after reading glowing reviews from this board).

My top arrived with no installation instructions - does anyone have a set they can email / fax me?

Myles.
