Question: Installing aftermarket seats

I'm considering picking up a pair of aftermarket racing seats for my '00 C2 coupe. I know I'll need the appropriate sliders/mounts. My question is wrt electronics.

My current sport seats are fully manual other than the electronic recline. If I install aftermarket racing seats I know the recline function is a moot point. However I don't want to trigger an airbag light, so what do I need to do to connect the seatbelt receptacle's wire to the harness that sits on the floor under the car seat? Do I need to purchase another harness for the new seats so this connector can attach, or can the connector simply plug into the harness in the car? Of course I will assume/check the mounts have a 17mm threaded bung to attach the seatbelt receptavle to.
