02 C2 Stereo System?!

Recommended Posts

i don't have a bose logo on my 02 carrera just stock 6 speaker system, and boy does it sound like crap! if the fade in the center i hear everyone from only the front dash speakers, i have the fade set on R4 right now and it is only bearable.... it's got plenty of highs some bass but seems to be missing everything in between.... i know it's a sports car but since it comes w/ cup holder why not a great stereo too?

what do you guys do to solve this?!

A good start would be to replace the speakers with something decent, like Boston Accoustics Pro series. You maintain the look as the speaker housings and grills are maintained. If that isn't enough, then upgrade the amp to something better, like a Boston Accoustics 5 channel amp. The head unit in the dash is kept so the final install looks totally stock.

Speakers are a great first step and you should notice a significant improvement.
