Vinyl window replacement

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

New member and first post. I did a search and learned a lot about top replacement and vinyl window replacement. Great site, by the way. Lots of very informative and helpful members. The vinyl window of my 99 Boxster ripped last Winter when I retracted the top to put my hardtop while the car was sitting out in below freezing temp. Now that I took the hardtop off and need to use the soft top, I need to replace the vinyl window. In reading a lot of the posts, it appears that my choices are to replace the window, replace the top with the vinyl window or replace the top with the glass window. Ive decided to go with the vinyl window replace but don't know of any place in the area where to take the car.

Can someone recommend a place in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Actually, anywhere in the Chicagoland area would work for me, so long as someone has prior experience and happy with the repairs.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
