Hey folks, I just bought a 2011 Cayenne S to replace my 2006. Wow what a difference! Anyways, the TPMS has 2 dead sensors. What replacements works? I can't seem to get a straight answer... looking for cost effective option. What have you actually bought and used that actually works? Model names, numbers etc... are appreciated Thanks. Roch -

I purchased an '04 CTT about a year ago and have been slowly bringing the technology up to date (rear view camera, up-to-date stereo)... hi everyone, im being haunted with TPMS now. first problem is left side appear req??? if u check in tyre pressure, meter keep pop out TPC inactive, system learning. so below is what i have done; -check battery life, FR 0 month. i changed FR wheel sensor -after changed the sensor, i run about 5km (TPC inactive still pop out) -i diagnosed again n check battery life, RR 0 month then.. ****! -i dont believe the scanner, so i do system adaptation -problem still same, i then swap rear tyre. -scanner still show RR 0 month, i then swap TPMS rear antena -problem still same..now i dont know what to do. im wondering how TPMS get wheel electronic ID? i noticed 1 thing, first time i check the ID *******217 at FL, then today 217 at RL! anyone get the clue? i have running the car more than 20km but it still learning.

Does the 2007 Cayman S have 4 TPMS Sensor Antenna, one for each tire? Like many other owners I have aftermarket wheels and rims in my 987 and I failed to have the TPMS sensors installed. I have considered building a small transmitter that will generate the correct frequency to the TPMS Antenna. This would turn off the annoying TPMS light on the dash. Any thoughts? Regards

I have an '08 Boxster S with 19" wheels. I check my tire pressure with a gage every copule of weeks. I have noticed that the tire pressure on the gage is always higher than what the TPMS reads. I was concerned about this so I looked it up in the manual. The manual points out that the recommended pressures are for cold tires at 68F and that tire pressure changes with temperature. It then goes on to say that the TPMS takes into account the relationship between temperature and pressure. So does the TPMS tell you what the pressure in the tires would be if the temperature were 68F? When it's 98F outside I don't care what the pressure would be if it were 68F, I care what the pressure is now. I fill my rear tires to the recommended 36psi based on todays conditions. Am I looking at this wrong?

I'm getting a message that states the TPMS is inactive on the dash and the red tire light comes on. This happened a couple of times and then there was one instance when the red tire light was off but going through the vehicle menu, the screen with the tire pressuresis gone. And you could not select tires as an option off the menu page. This morning I get in and the error light returned. I've had a sensor die and it's just a bad pressure reading, but I've never had the screen go away where I couldn't even look it up. I need to hook up the Durametric, but was curious if anyone had this symptom before. -
Hi everyone, 06 997 C4 Cab TPMS wont learn. Cant get readings from the rear sensors so I cant check values battery life etc.. Im told they might have been replaced already - no one really knows :( Fault code stored... 8003 - System Disturbance Looking for info / guidance A P-Tech mentioned besides the wheel sensors the antennas go bad. Thanks... D. -
Just purchased a 2006 911 Carrera 4S Cab with 21K miles. No PCM manual with the car and no original window sticker. When I scroll through the onboard computer menu I do not see any option to look at tire pressure. The sale ad and last owner indicated that the car had this feature. How do I know if I have it or is it turned off or not working?
