Replacement wipers C4s cab

Recommended Posts

Keith,

I know that my local Car Quest Auto Parts store carries different quality wiper blades from cheap to expensive.  I'm guessing the high quality blades would be an equal to the Porsche blades if they carried them.  I think it al depends on how convenient it would be for you to get to a Porsche store.  Either way it's not life changing.,.

Napa Auto parts had some good wiper blade replacements.

No need for OEM on some stuff.  Major stuff always.

My story:  I have a trickle charger.  It's branded Porsche, made by C-Tek.  Cost about twice as much as the regular non-branded C-Tek.  I just wanted to see "Porsche" on something I plugged into the car.  Wiper blades, no worry.

judge, my OEM wiper have the Bosch stamp, not Porsche. I looked at the Napa replacement ones also made by Bosch but they do not have the wind scoop that prevents lifting in windy rain conditions at 70 mph. Just thought I should pass this along re the wind scoop.

cheers,

johan

Should I replace with OEM at premium prices or local auto parts store who sell the  18" blades are sufficient?

I use Bosch ICON monoblade wipers on my 99 C2 cab. They work far better at highway speed than the OEM wipers.
